Tash Sultana announces 2027 Australia and New Zealand tour

Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana will return to Australian and New Zealand stages in 2027 with seven shows scheduled across the two countries from late April to mid-May.

Presented by MG Live and Frontier Touring the run opens at Auckland's Powerstation on 23 April before heading to Meow Nui in Wellington. The Australian dates begin at Anita's Theatre in Thirroul on 1 May followed by Sydney's Enmore Theatre The Forum in Melbourne Hindley Street Music Hall in Adelaide and Perth's Astor Theatre.

The tour arrives as Sultana moves into another phase of a career built around multi-instrumental performance production and live looping. Their breakthrough came through independently released music including 'Jungle' and 'Notion' followed by the albums Flow State in 2018 and Terra Firma in 2021.

Sultana returned to the spontaneous loop-based approach associated with their early work on the six-track Return to the Roots EP in 2025. In May 2026 they signed a global recording agreement with BMG their first global label partnership and followed it in September with the single 'Something in the Water'.

For the 2027 dates Sultana is introducing a new live show alongside new music. The format draws on the musicianship that established their international audience with Sultana known for building arrangements through looping while moving between guitar and a wide range of other instruments.

General admission tickets are priced from $89.90 with reserved or unreserved seating also available at selected Australian venues. A VIP Early Entry and Exclusive Merch package is priced at $189.90 and includes a general admission ticket early entry and a selection of tour merchandise.

Age conditions vary by venue. Auckland and Melbourne are 18+ while the Thirroul Sydney Adelaide and Perth shows are licensed all ages. Wellington is listed as 18+ with patrons under 18 permitted when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Frontier Touring's member presale begins at 12pm local time on Monday 28 September with general tickets on sale from 1pm local time on Tuesday 29 September.
